The Grand Ballarat Exploration
Australia’s city that’s rich in gold rush history and natural beauty! Home to The Eureka Stockade.
🕒 Duration 9 -10 hours
The first stop will be Sovereign Hill, where you’ll step back in time to the 1850s, try your hand at gold panning, and watch skilled blacksmiths and candle makers at work. Next, we’ll visit the Ballarat Wildlife Park, home to iconic Australian animals like koalas, wombats, and free-roaming kangaroos you can hand-feed. To finish, we’ll head to a local distillery, where you can sample expertly crafted spirits made with pure Victorian ingredients—perfect for warming up on a chilly Ballarat day!
Alternatively, also visit Sovereign Hill, but instead of visiting the local wildlife park (as some decide to view or already have seen one or two in and around Melbourne). We can escape to the charming town of Daylesford, famous for its soothing hot springs and local craftsmanship. Unwind in the mineral-rich waters, explore charming streets filled with unique boutiques, and savor delicious treats from cozy cafes and bakeries.
